It’s been a couple years since I wrote in this blog. Things have been quite busy here on many levels.

In 2019, we had a greywater system installed, built a large pond, more gardens and planted a ton of trees. In 2020, we had a raging wildfire, called The Bobcat Fire, that came through our entire community. The Bobcat Fire burned down the back property, as well as half the gardens, many of the trees… blowing from East to West, from North to South. And in all of it, the house made it through and part of the gardens. The Ponds got through as well…

I’m creating a blog on the fire itself and the rebuilding of the gardens. For now, I am leaving the burned wild areas alone to heal, but will be working on the entire property over the next few years.
